I recently came across this excellent video made by the famous “Will it blend” crew.
They basically put a loose diamond in a blender, added some water, then they started the blender. Of course, the whole diamond got crushed within seconds… Most people think that diamonds can’t be crushed because they have the hardest surface. In fact, diamonds have the strongest resistance to scratches, but they can easily be chipped…
